Keyboard shortcuts

On Linux and Windows, read ⌘ as Ctrl.

The scheme

The modifier says what a shortcut acts on. New bindings follow the tier that matches their scope, so the map stays learnable as it grows.

⌘B also toggles the sidebar, kept from long habit in other editors: with a selection it bolds, and with a bare cursor it falls through to the panel.
